TenTherma is a medical device that uses monopolar radiofrequency (RF).
The energy heats the dermis. The intended response is collagen remodelling and some tissue contraction over the following months. How much changes varies from person to person.
Tips come in several sizes, so the physician can use a different tip on the eyelids, the cheeks, the jawline, the neck or the body.

Why do the different tip sizes matter?
Skin thickness changes from one part of the face to another. TenTherma has tips from 0.25 cm to 2 cm, so the physician can match a tip to each zone of the face, neck or body. Choosing the tip is part of planning the treatment. It does not make the treatment risk-free and it does not guarantee a result.
What does the skin look like afterwards?
Flushing, warmth or mild swelling can appear, and how long it stays visible varies. Tenderness or dryness can also occur. The physician goes through comfort and your schedule before treatment, so tell us about any event or flight close to the date.
Who should not have TenTherma?
Tell us before booking if you have a pacemaker or other implanted electrical device, metal implants in the area, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Areas with active dermatitis, acne flares or infection are assessed first and may need to wait. If most of the sagging comes from deeper tissue, the physician may suggest a different approach.
What should I send on WhatsApp before booking?
Send clear daylight photos of each area you want treated, your travel dates, and any recent lifting or laser treatments. Say whether you mean the face, the eyes, the neck or the body, because the shot count follows the area. The physician can then give you a realistic first plan. The final decision is made in person.

Monopolar radiofrequency as a class, for face and neck laxity. This is modality context only and is not evidence of TenTherma's results. It does not cover eye or body treatment, treatment depth, tip selection or the SMAS layer.
A small study of monopolar radiofrequency and microfocused ultrasound reported improvement in facial and neck laxity, but it does not establish results for TenTherma or for any particular treatment plan.
A randomized split-face trial in 20 people followed for six months. Both sides improved with no significant difference between them, which is not evidence that the two treatments are equivalent, and the abstract does not name the commercial devices used.
