Shurink is a high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) device. It concentrates ultrasound energy into small points of heat in the dermis and in the fibromuscular layer underneath, called the SMAS.
The heat is meant to prompt collagen remodelling and some tissue contraction around those points. Any change builds gradually, and how much you see varies from person to person.
