How Laser Hair Removal Works
The laser's energy is absorbed by the pigment in the hair and heats the follicle, with the aim of making regrowth finer and sparser.
Hair grows in cycles, and only follicles in the active growth phase respond at a given visit. That is why reduction comes from a series of sessions spaced weeks apart, not from one appointment. The physician matches the wavelength and settings to your skin tone and hair.
It is a reduction treatment. Most hair can be reduced, but some usually remains or returns, and occasional maintenance may be needed.

Is the starting price for one area or the whole body?
The starting prices cover either the hairline or the jawline, one area per session: from KRW 110,000 for the female menu and KRW 132,000 for the male menu. Body-area prices are listed separately; confirm the exact area before booking.
Will one visit complete my hair-removal course?
No. Hair grows in cycles, and the laser acts on hairs that are actively growing at the time of the session. That is why reduction builds over repeated sessions spaced weeks apart, and why maintenance may be needed. The session plan and intervals are confirmed at consultation.
Does it work on my skin tone?
The physician assesses your skin and hair to choose the wavelength and parameters at consultation. Very light, gray or red hair responds poorly to laser in general, and darker skin needs settings chosen with care. Suitable areas and settings are confirmed at consultation.
Is it worth starting during a short trip to Seoul?
A single visit can start a course, but it will not finish one. If you can come back to Seoul, or continue with a clinic at home, tell the physician so the first session is planned with that in mind.
When should I wait before having laser hair removal?
Tell the physician if you have a fresh tan, take medication that makes your skin sensitive to light, are pregnant, or have a rash, infection or cold sore in the area. Any of these can mean changing the settings or waiting.
