What areas of the face and body can be treated?
On the face: forehead, around the eyes, between the brows, around the mouth, and the jaw — including wrinkle softening and square-jaw (masseter) reduction. On the body: the trapezius (shoulder line) and the calves for a slimmer leg line. The physician maps suitable areas in consultation.

What research can and cannot tell us
Enlarged jaw muscle (masseter) only. It does not cover the forehead, the eye area, between the brows, around the mouth, the shoulders, the calves, pores or teeth grinding, and it does not establish a dose or a schedule for the products priced on this page.
A small trial in women with enlarged jaw muscles found changes in muscle size after botulinum toxin, while repeated treatment also affected muscle function, so it does not establish a universal dose or schedule.
A randomized triple-blinded study in 26 women using abobotulinumtoxinA at 75 units per masseter, a preparation and dose that do not convert to the products listed here. The first treatment was not placebo-controlled, and masticatory performance did not differ significantly between the repeat-treatment groups.
