- The physician checks the under-chin and jaw by pinching and with your head in different positions, to see whether the fullness is fat, loose skin, or both. If it is not fat, InMode is unlikely to be the right choice, and you will be told.
- The area is cleansed and marked. With FX, the handpiece draws up a fold of skin and fat with suction and delivers radiofrequency into it. With Forma RF, the handpiece glides over the skin while its temperature is monitored.
- Expect heat and a pulling sensation from the suction. Settings are adjusted if it becomes uncomfortable.
- Afterwards, the area may be red and warm. Avoid heavy drinking, saunas and hard exercise for the period the physician sets, and use sunscreen outdoors.
Final treatment and price are confirmed after assessment, before treatment begins.
