The First Reading

Before any tuning, the reading.

A gentle entry bundle — tightening, brightening, and pigment-clearing in a single session, plus a free physician consultation about anything else you’re considering. The honest place to begin.

Pico toning + Clarity Pro + pigment laser + free consult ₩165,000 ~USD 111 · ~90 min · Same-day flight OK

The first visit shouldn’t feel like a commitment

You’ve been reading about Seoul for months. The treatments, the techniques, the brand names. There is a clinic on every block in Apgujeong and three different people on Instagram have told you three different things to try first. The whole idea has started to feel like a contract you have to sign before you’ve even sat in a chair.

The First Reading exists for that exact moment. One short session that gives you a real, tangible result on your skin in the next 90 minutes — and, more importantly, a free, unhurried conversation with the physician about everything else you’ve been wondering about, without anyone trying to sell you a program.

You leave understanding your face better. What you do next is your decision, not ours.

The Why

Why we built it this way

1. You see the skin first

Three real treatments — toning, surface laser, pigment clearing — let you feel the standard of care on your own face before deciding anything bigger.

2. The consult is free, not a sales call

The physician will assess your face, answer your questions, and tell you honestly whether a deeper program is warranted — or whether you don’t need anything else at all.

3. Designed for first-time travellers

Zero downtime. Fly out the same day. If you’re combining this with sightseeing on a short trip, the session fits inside one afternoon.

Who it’s for

  • First-time visitors to a Seoul clinic, uncertain whether they want a full program yet.
  • People considering a deeper protocol but who want to feel the clinic’s standard of care first.
  • Patients with surface pigment concerns — solar lentigo, freckles, post-inflammatory marks — that respond well to targeted laser.
  • Travelers on a short trip who want a low-friction same-day treatment that doesn’t bind them to a long protocol.

Who it’s not for

  • Already know what you want: if you’ve done your research and are decided on lifting / filler / a biostimulant, go directly — The First Reading is for orientation, not delay.
  • Currently very sun-tanned: deep tan increases laser-pigment risk. Wait two weeks after significant sun exposure.
  • Active facial inflammation, acne flare, or rash: defer until skin is calm.
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding: defer laser work; we’ll happily offer just the consultation.

Physician’s Q&A

Six questions, honestly answered

Is this suitable for darker skin tones?

Enlighten Pico and Clarity Pro are both safe across Fitzpatrick types I – V in trained hands; the physician adjusts wavelength, fluence, and pulse duration to your skin tone. For Fitzpatrick VI or recently sun-darkened skin, we may modify the pigment-laser component or defer it — we will tell you in person before treating.

How sensitive will my skin feel afterwards?

Mild warmth and pink-tinted skin for 2 – 4 hours is typical. Treated pigment spots may turn slightly darker for a few days before flaking off — this is the expected pathway, not a complication. Sunscreen and gentle skincare for the next 48 hours.

Can I do other treatments the same day?

Generally no — The First Reading is meant to be the only thing on the day, so you can experience it without overlap. If you arrive already certain about a deeper protocol, the consultation will use that time to plan it for a separate visit (or, if appropriate, schedule it in for later in your trip).

What does the free consultation actually cover?

Anything you’re considering. Lifting protocols. Filler. Skin density. Body contouring. Whether something you read online matches your actual face. The physician will tell you what is and isn’t appropriate for you — including treatments we don’t offer at Tune Clinic, if those are honestly a better fit.

Can I fly out the same day?

Yes. There is no swelling, no bandages, no marks visible after a few hours. Bring your sunscreen, drink water, skip alcohol for the evening — everything else is normal.

What if the physician thinks I should NOT do any further treatment?

Then she’ll say so — and that is, sincerely, often the most valuable result of this session. You will leave with a personalised note on what (if anything) we’d recommend next and, importantly, what we wouldn’t. There is no obligation to book anything else.
