Enlighten is a laser toning & pigment treatment that uses ultra-short, high-power pico-laser energy to finely break down pigment lesions while minimizing damage to the surrounding tissue.

Pico-second-fast pulses shatter melanin pigment into extremely small particles, helping the body clear it naturally, while at the same time promoting collagen regeneration in the skin — based on the Photomechanical Effect.

Why Enlighten for Deep-Pigment Removal?

1. Deep pigment is broad, blurry-bordered pigment

Unlike narrow blemishes, deep pigment is a widely spread, hazy patch pigment, so if energy concentrates in one spot it easily becomes patchy.

So Enlighten: uses a Flat-Top beam that delivers identical output at center and edges, evenly irradiating the entire spread of pigment so it can be improved uniformly without tonal patchiness.

2. Deep pigment is sensitive to thermal stimulus

If too much heat is applied to deep pigment, the risk of the skin becoming even darker — post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) — rises.

So Enlighten: is centered on the photomechanical effect rather than heat, so heat doesn't build up much in the skin and only melanin is selectively shattered. This gives higher safety when treating deep pigment.
